Easter Sunday

“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said!” (Matthew 28) 

This is a day like no other day, an event like no other event. Everything that had been promised was fulfilled in this moment which changed everything for everyone! What looked like defeat is actually victory, Jesus is alive! The resurrection is the Christian belief that God raised Jesus from the dead confirming his identity as the Messiah, the saviour and liberator of his people. This is the foundation of the Christian faith that we believe everyone deserves an equal opportunity to hear. Jesus being raised from the dead means that we too can receive eternal life and be raised with him when he returns to live with him forever in the new heaven and new earth. The story continues!
